🌬️ Movement & Breath — Kinesis & Pneuma (κίνησις & πνεῦμα)

In ancient Greece, harmonious movement and controlled breath were central to cultivating both body and soul. Vase paintings often depict athletes and deities in fluid poses, embodying strength, poise, and divine balance. These practices were believed to refine one’s character and align human actions with cosmic order.

“Man is what he continually does. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.”

— Aristotle, c. 350 BCE
